A few phrases you will see a bit on the Japanese version and what they mean:

ん – This is usually said when a person doesn’t understand what you’re saying.

w – their version of ‘LOL’

ROM – rest one moment (this is their version of brb/afk)

WIS – whisper

PT – short for party. Useful if you want to Kerning PQ. Just go to the channel and say PT? It will be understood.

Pop – short for popularity. Generally speaking Japanese call it that instead of fame.

orz – this is actually not a phrase but rather an Emoticon. Tilt your head to the left and it looks like a guy on his knees banging his head on the ground. Commonly used when someone dies, scrolls fail, etc.

UG – short for upgrade slots (If someone is megaphone selling they will usually put 1UG or however many slots are left instead of typing it out fully)

MPK – The Japanese version of KS, it means map player kill, where they are AFK and you kill them by making monsters spawn. Best example is at anego camping, where you make a jumpy person spawn and hit them off.
